    Trauma-Informed Personal Training Is Helping Clients Heal Through Movement. Approaching fitness through a trauma-informed lens, helps to ensure clients feel welcome, included, and most importantly, safe. Movements that, over a course of a session, can help clients shift from a state of dysregulation to a place of feeling more grounded and safe in their body. We’re increasing clients capacity to navigate stress, to feel it and notice it and not immediately become dysregulated, and thats the most important piece.

    Gut Health Is Important for Your Body and Your Mind. The gut is composed of microbes that affect your physiology and keeps your body and brain functioning as they should. The nervous system in your gut communicates with the brain. It also plays a role in inflammation associated with stress and autoimmune diseases.     IN HOME and ONLINE personal training sessions are workouts in your own personal gym, living room or garage.

    April can travel to you in North Laguna Beach, CA. She offers 30-60 minute sessions in North Laguna designed to challenge your cardio, strength, flexibility and conditioning with the equipment you have available at your home.

    Online sessions are available via FaceTime or Zoom anywhere outside this area.

    These workouts will be designed for your goals of weight loss, fat loss, strength, muscle gain, flexibility, pain relief and conditioning.

  • BIKINI Competition online coaching

    This program will get you stage ready for bikini competition and photo shoots. This program is best starting 12 weeks out but depending on your current conditioning, could be done in 8-10 weeks.

    COACHING: This program will include a nutrition plan and workout plan with bi-weekly updates. April will consult with you on a weekly basis via phone or messenger appointments. Guidance for competition suits, tan, make up, jewelry and posing are included.

    April will want front, side and back progress pictures on a bi-weekly basis. You will need to download and track your foods through the MyFitnessPal app so she can monitor your daily food intake.

    MEAL PLAN: You will receive a wholesome vegan meal plan, which will be balanced in all macros. No extreme diet measures are taken to achieve your goals. All meal planning and nutritional advice is wholefood vegan-based. Beans, fruits, grains, veggies, nuts, seeds, nut milks and selected vegan protein powders will be your energy sources. Whole foods that contain no refined or processed ingredients, no additives and no artificial products.

    WORKOUT PLAN: Training programs are personalized based on your goals as well as your current strength and fitness levels. Bi-weekly updates to your workout program will be determined during your scheduled online appointments.

    TECHNIQUES: Information on training techniques and movements included in your training program.

    FLEXIBILITY: April will write your program to work around YOUR schedule and time commitments over a 7-day week.
